This vertically inclined assemblage of functional objects (19th c. fence post mallet, oak staved barrel, stout dining table leg) alludes to figure and gesturally opens to reveal a framed silver pitcher tilting and pouring from above…grace over the miraculous ordinary conditions of life and work.
